Stop trying to change someone

A leopard can't change its spots. Change is hard. People resist change because it takes effort to change. We are generally so used to doing things our way, You think it's right, so you behave in .a certain way. Even if you think it's wrong, your conscience might prick you, but you might still continue doing it.

We think and behave in a certain way because of our upbringing, education, environments, and worldviews. Two different people who are in a similar situation might have a totally different set of thought process.
To some, it's just about themselves - i.e. what make them feel happy and good, what they can get out of people and every situation. They would not go the extra mile, with no strings attached. The world revolves around them. They engage in conversations and relationships for their own loneliness, but they suck and drain your entire energy tank, just like a leech! They simply consume, consume, and consume, without giving back.
Some think that they are open-minded. But at the very core of it, they might be as hard as rock and as dead as wood. It might just be all bullshit that they are saying. You can tell right from their responses. You might just be surprised by how narrow-minded, intolerant, and myopic some can be!
You might think it's bullshit, but it's considered of utmost importance and valuable to others. Laugh about it, gossip about them.
At the end of the day, it's your perspectives - your choice to look through with different lenses.
It's your life - you have the final say of how you want to build your life.
And how you view others also reflects much about yourself - what you value and treasure. Are you seeing through tinted lenses?
